Keeping the Memory Alive
This dresser was part of a bedroom set my Great Grandparents received as a wedding gift in the 1920's. It's the only piece left of that set. When my Grandparents downsized, I knew I had to save it!
It suffered some damage from the 70's...
I wasn't sure if the old paint was lead based and there was some damage to the veneer on the bottom, so I decided to paint it.
After two coats...
The drawers are large and very deep and it actually holds more than my 5 drawer dresser that it replaced!
