Lovely Cake Plates.

I need some cake plates for my cake business and remembered that I had some lovely glass plates in storage that my mother sent me a few years ago. I also have stemware in my china cabinet just taking up space so I combined the two and here is what I came up with. I just bought some glass glue and glued them all together.
I bought the base of this at a garage sale, a candy dish or something like that and glued it to a pretty large glass plate. Walla, my new cake plate.

The stem of this is from a pampered chef trifle bowl. It wasn't attached and I never use the stand so I glued it to a pretty plate for my second cake stand.
This is a cupcake stand made from 3 different size plates of the same pattern and glass stemware.

I make these also out of many different items, ceramic cups etc the glass cake plate needs a saucer under stemware to stablize, if cake is half gone, it can tip easy.

These were mainly for display, not something I will use. I have others to use. The cakes on them are styrofoam, so no worries. Thanks for the insight though. I will remember that.
