Drab to FAB!

Last summer I snagged this patio set from a local swap and shop ground on Facebook. It was in pretty rough shape! Previous owners were smokers and the cushions were just nasty to say the least! But, it was only $75! I considered paying someone upwards (I hate admitting this) of $200 to make cushion covers? That was until I decided I would try painting them! Am I sure glad I did! 2 quarts and $18 later, u have the most fab looking patio set ever!

@Mitziblueyes I actually just used a premixed Krylon paint. It was Indoor/Outdoor so I didn't seal it. But, I have seen tutorials of painted upholstered furniture and people use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and seal it with the Annie Sloan Clear Wax. If you were using the piece inside, I would suggest the Annie Sloan way just because it does make it softer.. These are pretty hard, but being outside, I like them this way. They're not water resistant and the cushions don't soak up water and take forever to dry! I can just wipe them off! :)
