Milk paint versus chalk paint??

Ok, so ready to attempt my first piece, what's the difference in effects between milk and chalk paint? Also, where's the best place to get??

I paint my products with flat, latex paint and Paint Minerals additive. @Tref Barillo is the owner of PM and can give you all kinds of insight into her product. I can just tell you I swear by it. I haven't experimented with milk paint but I know she has.
