I had a piece of lace that I used to embellish a lamp shade. I sewed some beads on it, made some dangles using beads and then hot glued the lace around a plain lampshade.

You can also embellish a decorative hand/bath towel with the lace and some nice ribbon. OR even glue some of the lace to the edge of a shelf in something like a hutch to add some shabby chic detail to it. When it comes to lace, ribbons, fabric I'm always finding new, cute and fun ways to use them.

Use to embellish photo's in a frame under the glass, gift wrapping, scrapbooking, wrap pieces around pillar candles, make flowers, greeting cards. Can also use the scraps to make a one of a kind pillow or even make a ball cap a little girly.

Lace is so in right now and I love it. Uses: table runner, shawl, trim on t shirt/shorts/skirt/dress, window covering, window trim, insert in glass for a tray, frame it, towel/pillow trim, overlay for a shirt/skirt, backing for a hutch/bookcase, lamp shade, accent underwear, boot cuffs, tank top. Love the idea with beads and gift wrap. Have fun, post what you come up with.

And don't forget doll clothes. A banner made of doll clothes is fun to make and cheerful to see.

You could also use lace for painting stencil like on furniture tops, drawer fronts, etc. That is if you can part with it. Just adhere it to furniture piece and spray paint.

How about layering onto semi sheer or cotton fabric for a shower curtain or tiered curtain if there is enough. Spray tack and then stitch across the bound edge. Or once layered could use as "fabric" to sew a top or skirt which is showing up in the stores
