Intimate Accessible Master-Bathroom/Dressing Area for an Artist

Lilian Weinreich Architect
by Lilian Weinreich Architect
This fantastic transformation is of a 170sf master bathroom with walk-in dressing room in the iconic Hampshire House, NYC, for Connie Aronson, an artist of considerable note and critical acclaim. The famed New York Hampshire House was home to many notable celebrities, including Greta Garbo, Luciano Pavarotti, Sophia Loren, Ruppert Murdoch and Placido Domingo.
The reimagined space successfully integrates a clever mix of custom-designed pieces to support Connie’s mobility requirements, with colors and materials carefully selected to show off her vibrant impressionistic artwork, developed over seven decades.
