Succulents in Upcycled Dollar Store Pots

Planting succulents in DIY chalk painted and twine wrapped pots from Dollar tree to add to your Spring decor....
I love succulents and wanted to add some to our home for Spring - and, actually year round. They add so much texture and beauty and are so easy to care for.... you can basically forget about them for long periods and they will still thrive.....
Chalk painted and twine wrapped pots.... easy ways to upcycle some thrifty pots from the Dollar Tree...
Varied Succulents....I chose these for their color, interest of shape and texture that will pop against the pots they are to be added to....
A surprise addition.... a tip I read about and wanted to try....
Beautiful end product.....

I've been doing a lot of planting in containers, but was dismayed at how very expensive pretty pots are. So I just bought a few small trash cans and beach buckets from the dollar store to use them as planters. They were all very pretty colors, so I'm leaving them as is other than putting holes in the bottom. My purple orchid will look great in the hot pink bucket.
