Missing cabinet door and a drawer

I am trying to stage my home to sell. When I moved into this home it was a forecloser and the people that lived here before did not take care of it as nicely as they should have. And when they moved they took a few cabinet doors and a drawer that I assume was a junk drawer they didn't want to clean out and took it with them. What can I do besides replacing all cabinets since I don't have that kind of money?

Check with your local home improvement store. Long story but you may be able to get a "refaced" type door. We redid our cabinets and when they came in, one of the drawer fronts was essentially boring with no "grain" (they are Hickory and beautiful!). We contacted Lowes and they replaced it for free. We did reuse the "plain" one for a vertical pull out drawer next to the sink. A "blessing in disguise". Quite literally

take measurements of the cabinet, drawers etc. and take that to a Habitat for Humanity and find a similar cabinet in size. You may have to paint all the cabinets to match.... but junk stores, and Habitat for Humanity always have used cabinets.

Finish the inside of the cabinets with stain to match your cabinets and put in shelves with some pretty woven baskets on each shelf. You can even use an accent color that matches the canisters or some other item in the kitchen. Fill these baskets with rolled place mats, napkins or food stuffs like noodles in bags. Do not over fill them. Shelves are very popular in kitchens these days. Replace the mechanism for the drawer with a new one that has both the piece that fits inside the cabinet and the one that fits on a tray. Divide that tray with strips of wood to hold silverware! You could even put in strips of magnets that would hold sharp knives! If it is deep enough, it could be a spice drawer. Mine are inside a cabinet, but the fronts could be toward the front of the cabinet!

Make the missing drawer a pull out cutting board (add cleats and slide cutting board between them) and add slide out wicker baskets at the cabinet the same way...check your local dollar store for board and baskets : )
