This door has over 90 years of paint and varnish on it
Will be getting new door molding around both doors. The brown door is the one that had the old paint and varnish on it.
Did the ceiling in a lighter blue. Yes that is tape around the light fixture.

The whole project took about 3 weeks, that's including all the hand sanding. I think that was the hardest part. Yes I could have used an electric hand sander, but I wanted it to be all me. :)

I have always been a girl on a budget too and have learned to be creative with what I have or can afford. This looks amazing and I know how much work went into it. Love your colors and the rustic and loved look that it projects. Beautiful job!! By the way, my kitchen cabinets looked similar...re did those suckers 3X's! Finally getting my dream kitchen after 34 years.
