Easy DIY Chalkboards With an Amazing TIp

by Homeroad
Sometimes you need a short cut in this business... And here is one I think is awesome!
Using old 8x10" thrift store frames I created new chalkboards in beautiful colors. Each one is different and the short cut is the best idea ever!

Home Depot sells a chalkboard that is already chalkboarded.... and if you are lucky, and bat your eyes a little, you may even get them to cut it for you.

Way back in the section that sells specialty trim and thin wood veneer, you will find it in most stores. Stop by Homeroad to see it in action!
And here it is, cut to fit into the newly painted thrift store frames with an added chalk rack. Stop by Homeroad and see what I used to insert the chalkboard into the frames.
