Curb Appeal- Planting for Spring

I wanted to update my garden after a loooong, ugly winter. Normally, I plant later in the Spring going into the Summer, but this year I could not wait! I started with prepping my soil by tilling it.
I then covered the entire area with a garden weed blocker cloth. This is my first year using it, so we will see if it actually helps to block the weed growth.
After the cloth was laid, I went in a cut holes into each area that I would be planting. After planting, I added black mulch.
Now I am happy with the pops of color that are seen upon pulling up to my home!

OK, now you have to make sure you post the photos of everything fully grown and glowing! With the different colors, it should be beautiful. We don't have much color in yet. Our perennials we planted last year are just beginning to come out so we have to wait to know where to plant the new stuff. We can only hope it is not too hot by then! A few have about 1" showing and some have nothing so far!

I like the grey. I would like to see a shot with the roses in bloom too!
