DIY Board & Batten - Part 1

We decided to put {faux} board and batten up in our dining room. It was fairly easy and we love the results.
I painted the top portion of the wall black, which was kind of risky, but we LOVE it.
We painted the board and batten semigloss white. It's so bright and clean in this room. This dining room started out a really dingy shade of green.
I still have all of the decorating left to do but it's nice to have this done. Painting/Cutting in all of that white paint was the hardest part. I'll share the finished walls tomorrow. Be sure to stop by my blog to check it out!
