Handkerchief Quilt!

After 13 years of Girl Scouts we had collected many kerchiefs. A leftover shower curtain became the backing! Reuse.. recycle... repurpose! It's become our favorite quilt!
A very thin batting was used, but even then... it's such a comfy quilt to pull over you for a nap. And it washes like a dream!

love your quilt, and a good idea, no cutting out squares or shapes..i love homemade quilts..will try this

I love this. I have quite a few vintage handkerchiefs that I would love to do this with. I would hand it on a wall though. Some of them are very old and thread bare. Thank you for the idea.
