I made this tonight, I have a layer of stones, thin layer of activated carbon and then soil. I added a "Snow White" Begonia. My question is did I use to much soil?

Your begonia is not going to complain about having too much soil, but it may soon feel that it doesn't have enough headroom.

I was afraid of that after I finished. I will have to look for a nice (larger) jar or planter and switch it out. How long should I wait is there a time frame I don't want to play around with it too much and have it die.

@Kristy I would make the switch as soon as you can. There's no reason for it to get established in this spot only to then be moved.

give it 2 -3 weeks after the planting and then do it again with the bigger container. Look for Vitamin B )that will keep it out of shock) a really good one and then water with VH11 after. Which is the best fertilizer I have ever used. I learned about it when I worked in a Plant nursery and been using it since. You have to water less even more about every 2 weeks depending on how hot it gets in your area. Google it to see where it is available in your area.... I get it here at True Value, CVS. I hope that helped. Happy planting.
