Can I transplant ferns now? Mine have been crowded out by hostas

and even tho I plan to move some hostas, I also want to place the ferns in another location. Will it hurt them to do it now?

I wouldn't think so, I'm in Arkansas and I am still moving plants around. Just be sure and water good afterwards.

I move mine when I need to and usually Before a rain -which i find it is best so they get watered. Did you see my z Japanese painted fern tutorial? Moving ferns is easy just try not to disturb to much soil- so have the ground be moist. Happy gardening
