Celebrate Cinco de Mayo or any fun party with a festive touch. Plant succulents in tomato sauce cans or salsa cans. Make some Papel Picado Flags (traditional folkart paper cutting) for an even more festive look. Great for decor, gifts or party favors.
These 8 oz El Pato tomato sauce cans are the perfect size for small succulents.
Clip new baby succulents from your mature plants and plant them in the cans. Succulents are so hardy and will be perfectly happy in these cans.
Add tags or plant sticks or for a festive look, make some Papel Picado Flags. Place your succulents on tables at your party or use as party favors or gifts.

Anna Ibarra on May 05, 2014Oh these are so sweet and it fits the theme. I love recycled ideas. These are great ideas for teachers and their classes and can act as an upcoming Mother's day gift as well as kids getting in some small gardening tips.
