Just saw a pic and would love to have these flowers

    It's the flower of an echeveria, a type of succulent.

      @Douglas Hunt Hi Douglas, yes for sure. Birds seem to love these tiny flowers. You will find some small leaves along the stems which will pull off easily and these are great for propagating new plants from. Break them off and let them start to shoot or form a rosette before putting onto some cacti potting mix and voila - new plants. Easy peasy! You can also gently pull off leaves from the plant itself and do the same.

    If you send a photograph to http://www.drought-smart-plants.com/ she will identify it for you. You will also find fantastic information about how you can propagate your own. In fact, you should be able to grow one by simply using one of the leaves (see Carole's comment above). But ... take it from me ... once you start, it is difficult to stop!!!

    I believe @Douglas Hunt is correct these are echeveria. Here is picture of some of mine in bloom.

    The other nice thing about Hens and Chicks (common name) is that they spread out nicely. Remember that they are not always in bloom but they are always cute!

    wonderful flower of the "hens & chicks", flower pretty easily. Then the main plant dies off, the babies take over.
