A Junk Garden Washboard Planter Box
by

Last year, I found a great old rusty washboard that was perfect for a junk garden. Earlier this year, I purchased a rusty metal and wood lag screw bin. Both had a rusty metal patina and aged wood. I married the two pieces into a fun planter box.
My planter box is staged with a faux plant because it's too early to plant here in northern Minnesota.
The washboard was in the garden last year!
Here is the lag screw bin.
Here is the finished planter box. See how I put it together with a scrap of wood, machine screws and nuts on my blog tutorial.
