Part 2 of my Felting Techniques Series
Welcome back to the Felting Series!
Did you see Part 1 - Basic Felting? It's on Fiberartsy (link below)
This week, you will learn step by step how to make a beautiful cobweb felted scarf.
What is cobweb felting? Just like the name suggests it creates a felted fabric with a ‘cobwebby’ texture – thin areas and even holes!
(Full step by step instructions at Fiberartsy - link below)
Supplies needed:

Wool or Alpaca Roving - appr. 3 ounces, a bit longer than your final desired scarf

Matchstick blind or Bubble wrap

Hot Water

Dish Detergent (not generic)

Plastic soda bottle

Plastic sheet
In a nutshell, these are the steps:

Draft the fiber
Lay it out
Wet it down
Work it
Roll it
Throw it
And wear it!

Again, full step by step instructions are at my site Fiberartsy.
