Amber-Lee's Room Reveal!!

Delia
by Delia
I completed my 6 year old daughter, Amber-lee's bedroom. Yay! I think I succeeded in making her happy, as per her request: butterflies, flowers, lalaloopsy, and a table desk) to write on. This room was painted a few years ago, but I never got around to decorating it.
Most of the items in this space were DIY. I attempted to add my personal touch to give it a more girly feel.
DIY Bedskirt ....Pottery Barn inspired.
I made the bed skirt from one of my daughter's sheets.
The lalaloopsy pillow buddy has a zipper compartment on the back of its head for storing nightclothes.
DIY shaped ribbon boards
DIY reupholstered stool from dish cloth.
Added trim to lamp shade and spray painted the lamp.
Closet Space.
The clock is hacked and set to the time my daughter gets dressed for school.
DIY pom pom cushion.
Glow in the dark butterfly/dragonfly decals.
To see more of this space you could check out my blog.

very cute - I would have loved it when I was a child - we thought Heloise's homemade netting curtains were the thing in those days!!! Like tutus on the windows.
