Thrifty End Table Makeover {Annie Sloan Chalk Paint}

I am a thrifty girl. Always have been! It's amazing the things people get rid of. A little paint or refinish and you have a like new piece (sometimes better than new!) I have decorated my home with 95% thrifty finds. You don't have to spend a fortune to do it and this little table is a perfect example of that. Picked it up at the thrift store not looking so great. A little paint, some "drawer flair" and a little love later....becomes a new treasure for my home.
Not too exciting in it's original form. A little orange-y for my tastes as well.
I decided to add a little "drawer flair" ....painted the inside of the drawer with Scandinavian Pink Chalk Paint and used scrap book paper to line. Fun little surprise when you open the drawer.
The rest got painted with white and blue Chalk Paint.

    Hi Nancy, my goodness I didn't know how popular this little table was, I see it a lot......I have the same table, my mom and dad had it next to their bed as a nightstand table(that's what they called it)...that was many yrs. Ago... they both have passed.....also have China closet, buffet, foot stool,(original cover on it)'when I wiped the dishes for mom I'd put in this same China closet....& I am old as dirt....(Hahaha)'

    This is lovely. I would never have thought of using the pink inside the drawer - it looks great. Very pretty.
