Dot M on May 21, 2014I prefer the E-Z Reacher Pro Plus grabber with the round plastic grabbers (like those you use to hold sun catchers on windows) made by Arcoa- metal and plastic and holds much better than the wooden/metal type that seems to twist and drop things. I put things like plastic pitchers, and other tupperware and plastic items on those high shelves and the grabber holds them well. plus you don`t need to worry as much as you are not apt to be hurt if you drop the plastic and no glass to break. The reacher will extend your reach about 32 more inches. Don`t know if they make them any longer. You can check on line. Wishing you the best luck.Helpful Reply
