Get Organized With a Household Binder

by Annette W.
Paper clutter was taking over our kitchen and home. I decided to organize it with a family/household binder.
Before you jump in, you want to carefully consider which subjects you want to address. Each person's will look different, but a few ideas are

calendars

shopping (menus/coupons)

important info (emergency numbers, medical info)

blogging (if appropriate)

cleaning checklists

More ideas are listed at the blog.
Make your binder attractive. I used photos of our family to make it what I wanted. It's two years old, and I haven't updated it yet!
At the blog, I also have listed many free printables that may interest you to create your own binder.

You have included some good information to think about. The one thing I have done, as a single person living alone, is to make a list of all my friends, including contact numbers, account details, etc etc, together with instructions on what should be done when I die - sounds morbid, but will be invaluable. It is in clear view so easy to find. I also have lists of maintenance that I have done on my house, including details of products used, such as paint makes and colors, so that touch-ups are easy.
