Need Ideas To Make A Tiny Porch Bigger

I have a tiny 3 ft front porch and I'm looking for ideas to make it bigger without making it an expensive job! I just want more sitting room so that no one has to turn their knees to the side for anyone to pass by. Ideas and links are welcomed. TY for the help in advance.

If you had a picture to go with your question, it give a great visual, making it easier to give ideas as to how much space you have to work with and such.

I agree with Mary, without visuals we can only guess what might help. Without seeing what you're working with the only only idea I can come up with is, if it's a concrete porch to add a deck over that, extending it to make a deeper porch.

Assuming your current porch is cement? You can construct a wooden deck along side of your existing porch and build out in that manner. To make it look good, construct the framing even with the existing porch height and using cement screws fasten the deck boards into the cement part where needed to secure and use the normal deck screws where the new deck framing is located.
