Habitat Restore Table Turned Campaign Table

A Habitat ReStore end table was given new life as a campaign table by removing the nail heads, adding a fresh coat of paint and a new handle. Find all the details on the blog.
Before: trunk style end table
This piece was found at a Habitat ReStore for $20. It pretty hardware was lost on the dark stained color. The transformation began by removing all the tack heads and handle. The holes were filled with putty and sanded. Then the whole piece was lightly sanded before painting.
After: Royal Blue Campaign Style Table
A fresh coat of blue paint brighten up the piece along with some gold metallic paint added to the antique brass hardware. The hardware really pops now.
Campaign style handle replaces the pull.
A new handle was added.

You earned it.i see some nice stuff on this site but not typically with your level of having a gift. It may seem pretty simple to some but I see things others don't. And you have an artists soul and great taste. I bet we have a lot in common and would have a blast at habitats and other places designing and working/playing together. I have been so busy remodeling my home and learning new tools and skills that I haven't had time to post much. I hope to do so soon. Have you ever read Veranda Mag? Feel free to email if u want to keep in touch and discuss ideas freedmanljf@ hotmail.com
  • @Linda 4 Real I have not read Veranda Magazine. I will have to check it out. Habitat Restore is always fun. Good luck on your remodel
