DIY Summer Dining Room Table

I like to change up my dining room table decor a few times a year. It always seems to makes things feel a little more fresh and new! I found some great inspiration for napkin rings at Pier 1, but decided to go the DIY route this time.
This is what my dining room table decor normally looks like. Not bad by any means, but it's fun to change things up a bit!
Pier 1 had the cutest floral napkin rings. But, they didn't have to color I wanted, and these are so easy to make on your own anyways! I found the perfect flower to use at Michael's. Then I used some napkin rings I already had, cut the stem off the flower, hot glued it to the napkin ring and trimmed a few of the flower petals. Super easy! I did buy the turquoise napkins from Pier 1 though. They were cute and on sale!
I also bought both the navy and scalloped capiz placemats at Pier 1. The capiz placements cost a little more than I typically would spend, but they were too perfect to pass up. Plus, I can use them for years to come, and was able to use a coupon on them.
I found the perfect turquoise moroccan lantern at Marshall's for the centerpiece. Then I added a few starfish to give it a beachy look.
I love the summery vibe the table now has!
