This is another project that was inspired by some posts here on Hometalk. Over a year ago someone gave us this medicine cabinet and told us that maybe we should do something with it. I thought it was all plastic so I really had no idea what to do with it. I totally forgot about it until two weeks ago. Than I realized that the shutter part was made out of wood and I could have used it for a project. Of course I looked on Hometalk and "stole" this idea:) I cleaned it ( it was so dirty), took the shutter out, spray painted brown, put a layer of elmers glue ( for the cracking effect), and then finally painted blue. My husband and I bought these drawer knobs at hobby lobby last week so we used them for this project. I displayed my nephews' pictures because they are the cutest! :) They are Christmas pics but I am planning on adding more recent ones:)
before- it was so dirty
I took the screws out to separate the shutter from the plastic part
