My Creative Space - Part 1

After having a purpose built artist studio for the past 22 years, it was a big deal when we moved late last year to a new home and there was no space to build a studio.
I've had to totally re-think how I store my creative supplies. With only a spare bedroom available as a work space, I also had to find ways to work productively in a small space.
Being surrounded by beautiful things is very inspiring and was a prerequisite for designing my new creative space. The patchwork door was one of the first areas I decorated and was a great piece to set the mood of the room.
The colour palette for my new room is soft and muted, which gives it a romantic feel and creates a calming atmosphere. I'm glad I kept the soft aqua colour of the walls.
This is day one of my 3 day tour and shows just one section of my new space.
