Indoor Patio and Porch Furniture

With so many people suffering from the extreme types of weather all over the U.S. already this year, lots of people are by now eager for the spring months to appear once again. It would be safe to surmise that you may be looking forward to spending a little less time dressing up in layers of coats, scarves and gloves, and a little more time outside in the backyard, and the image of you lounging around in the sunshine will have you feeling enthusiastic about the temperatures finally climbing and the cold dissipating posthaste!
If you enjoy the opportunity of watching the sun setting from your indoor patio or screened porch area, or perhaps wrapping up in a snug blanket and reading alongside your snoozing doggie as the moon starts to rise, then you will be aware of how important it is to feel relaxed in order to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Here are a couple of basic ideas that you might like to consider if you want to make your own indoor patio or porch a little more soothing, serene and inviting.
The most important focal point is the couch. Whether it is a petite divan or a sprawling chaise longue, keep it covered with welcoming blankets and thick pillows at all times. Furthermore, if you want to be able to enjoy drinking your first cup of coffee or hot chocolate of the day in the same area, you will need some kind of table nearby. An old-timey packing trunk-turned-coffee table provides a chic stand for you to perch your beverage on, as well as becoming a handy storage option for any spare books, blankets and pillows.
For those desiring a variety of different types of furniture (instead of a single all-encompassing couch), wicker chairs or mission-style furniture are both great choices. If you want a dedicated coffee table, place it on top of a graphic area rug to throw a splash of daydream-esque color to the seating arrangement, as this helps to break up any dull carpeting. Seeing as the majority of indoor patio, porch and sunroom furniture is located near to windows that overlook the back garden or near to landscaping areas, having furnishings of a deep emerald green shade will help to infuse the entire space with a "natural" aesthetic feel. Chocolate brown colors can be neatly paired with emerald greens to supply an earthy, "rooted" vibe.
Finally, a small tip: if the room you are using suffers from insufficient illumination during the daytime, a beautiful lightly-colored wood panel ceiling will help draw attention to a small skylight installation that can provide you with lots of lovely natural light.

I will be trying the blue on myself as a repellent. If it does not work, I will then try the yellow. But I would think the blue would work. I am going to spray our dog too...she is out in the back yard and in the grass, so I know she must get bit! What have we got to lose to use what we have on hand?
