Recycled PET Soda Bottle Ring

Easy
Turn trash to jewelry by making adorable fashion rings out of recycled Pet soda bottles. What a great way to help the environment . . . if only in a small way
Start by cutting different size circles out of the smooth area of a soda bottle. Using a lighted candle carefully move the edges of the circles over the "heat" of the flame until they curl. You can use tweezers to help hold and shape. Once satisfied with the shape of the petals allow to cool. Drop small amounts of nail polish onto the petals and swirl around until the petal is covered. Let dry completely. Glue the petals on top of one another using E6000. Mix a small amount of mod podge and seed beads and place in center of smallest top petal and allow to dry. Glue on a ring base using E6000 and allow to dry overnight or longer before wearing.
Beautiful, unique and oh so cheap to make!
Don't just make a ring . . . try a brooch, necklace, or pendant. Each piece so unique, and none alike.
