Spring Garden Tour

Come join me for a walk through the garden! I love the early spring blooms and the anticipation of what is to come. My gardening strategy is easy care bulbs and perennials in the flower beds and annuals close to the house in pots for easy watering. The beauty of bulbs and perennials is that they just keep getting better and better as easy year passes. As they get larger, they can be divided and shared. Raised bed garden boxes filled with rich organic soil make for a bounty of fresh vegetables all summer long. Rocks, boulders and a little bit of rust adds charm and character to the gardens. There is always something new to see, smell and appreciate in a garden!
Nothings says welcome to summer like a flag blowing in the breeze!
Annuals on the front porch add pops of color all summer long.
Spring blooming shrubs like azaleas and rhododendrons are one of the delights of spring.
Stone steps and pathways make for easy transitions.
These raised veggie beds will be overflowing by mid-summer.
Gentle curves add grace and interest.
Water adds a soothing element and a treat for the birds.
Don't forget lighting to enjoy an evening in the garden.
A cozy spot to sit and take in the view.
Charming little succulents are tucked in nooks and crannies.
A shade garden is an opportunity to add a whole new family of plants to your garden!
