Chalkboard everything is trending nowadays! From chalkboard paint, to chalkboard signs, to yes, even chalkboard cars, everyone seems to be enjoying this decorative style. Not to be remissed, this post includes a simple craft for creating chalkboard labels for mini jar candles! They can be used for Christmas decor or for any tables cape where you want a little inspiration and charm.
I first started with a jar candle that i found at the Dollar Store. I made sure to choose one that is free of dirt/oil. (This is a miniature size, but a full size jar candle could be used as well.) You can wipe off the glass with a wet napkin to be sure there is no dirt or residue on the glass.
Then what you'd want to do is using chalk, write your message on the chalkboard label. You can use different colors of chalk as well! The skies the limit!
The, simply apply the chalkboard label to the jar candle. Looks great! I love the simplicity and versatility of this project!
You are DONE! Easy enough :)
Create a whole set if you like! The great thing about these labels is that you can change the message whenever you'd like! These make great centerpieces or table numbers. Have ideas? Let me know :)
