Driftwood and a birdhouse - what a great match!
Finally got ANOTHER driftwood project done! I hope I am not the only one who has this "problem"with collecting and not getting to it right away.
This driftwood is from the trip with my best
friend and sister (from another mother) to Panacea FL. It was a great trip and this piece is a reminder of the importance of being surrounded by people who love you and lift you up.
I love using the materials I collect on trips to the beach, backwoods of Kentucky, & garage sales to add a bit of whimsy to my gardens. It brings me JOY to be surrounded by nature and all that is.

I will see this every time I pull in my drive. I love having reminders of how good life is.
I drilled a hole on the top of the beach for a screw to hold chain in place
Had this piece of chain and cup hooks for that time when you save something
Sprayed rubberized undercoating to stop decay from touching ground
Had some left from another project
Love cable ties! Used a post for this piece since it is not seen.

This is inspiring I have a farm in the backwoods of Ky. Lol. I think I will grab me some wood and do this too. Great idea
