Office Makeover: Calendar Wall

As a visual person, a wall calendar is a must for me. This DIY fulfills that need while also solving my boring-white-wall problem! A simple project that has a HUGE impact on your office and your organization.

for more details on this project and more!
Materials needed: (1) Wall calendar, (2) scissors, (3) ruler/tape measure and (4) thumbtacks. That’s it! Super easy supplies, most of which are already in the office.
Offices are typically rental space with white walls (in my case, with years of un-patched holes and no windows – but its an office! and its mine! so no complaints here).

Here, a before shot of the offending white wall and then the AFTER shot of the calendar wall!
Disassemble the calender. This one was spiral-bound, but some are just stapled in the center. I carefully un-spiraled the pages, trying not to rip the paper.
An easy way to make your office space more interesting and functional! If you’re inspired by this project, be sure to send me photos of your own Calendar Wall!

I always have three or more calendars going in my office - the month before , current month, next month so that I'm not constantly flipping pages. This is a much nicer idea!

Very nice!!! Like Cynthia H, I'm a multi-use calendar person, too! I use multiple calendars that flow from one to another and work for the way my brain thinks!!! (I'm definitely visual.) 1) I have a sheet for each month mounted in a file keeper on the wall to the right of my desk (it's an easy way to keep them literally at the tip of my thumbs, but off my desk and out of a stack.) 2) I have weekly calendars (6 weeks at a time) posted on the wall in front of me 3) I have a daily calendar on my desktop to my right The monthly tickler reminds me of what's upcoming, the weekly reminds me when the task should get done, and the daily calendar is where I actually schedule the time to do the work. I use it for both professional and personal reminders, although for home, each person has their own designated color so their reminders stand out to them right away.
