Weathered wood bulletin board paper glued to floors?

Has anyone used this for a similar technique as the torn paper floor covering? You wouldn't tear it, but still glue it down.

Cheryl, do you have a picture of the weathered wood bulletin board paper? Or perhaps a link? I've not seen it before. I did Google and found this. http://pacon.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/56518_56515-Weathered-Wood.jpg

@Cheryl, since I haven't seen the paper in person I won't be able to help you. Have you seen it in person? If it's a thick as craft paper, it could work, but getting it wet might pose a problem with the print/ink. Do you have a piece you could try using it on something other than your floor to see how it works?

Cheryl, I've seen brown craft paper turn into leather-appearing flooring. There are so many step-by-step instructions on Pinterest. Be careful, Pinterest is addicting!

Thanks Becky. No I haven't seen it in person. I saw an episode of http://livewellnetwork.com/Knock-It-Off/9048329 where they used it on the ceiling to look like planking. I'll have to go check it out.

@Cheryl, the link took me to the main page but I did find the video by searching "bulletin board paper ceiling". Since they stapled it up, there's no telling how strong it is. Being that it's meant for school bulletin boards, my guess is, that it is more than likely a little less sturdy than craft paper. I've used allot of the solid colored bulletin board paper during my time as a reading teacher's assistant.
