Leaves of 3- Should I let it be?

Every season I get caught by poison ivy, so I am very gun-shy when I see a plant with three leaves. This spring, I am finding this plant popping up all over my garden. Is it the dreaded poison ivy or something else? Thanks!

Don't think so......edges of leaves are too ridgged and not shiny. Think that is a weed. I get them too! Wear gloves to pull any weed out to be safe.. http://www.wikihow.com/Identify-Poison-Ivy

They look like wild strawberry plants. Do they eventually get little white flowers? If so, those flowers become strawberries!

it does look similar to strawberry, but the weed like this has little prickers on it... not a friend!!! They will start to pop up all over

It isn't any Poison Ivy I have ever seen(we are loaded with that) It does look like a wild strawberry but could be in the blackberry family(they do have prickles). They are both very invasive. Remember Poison Ivy two side leaves look like a right and left mitten with the center leaf that has two thumbs(almost always).

It's dreaded all right, but it's not poison ivy. It looks like wild strawberry, which can't hurt you but can take over very quickly. We've got lots of it, and in some areas I just let it grow.
