Patriotic Mantel & Living Room

Hi friends how are you today?? I hope well. So if you know me by now, you know I LOVE love LoVe holidays. I decorate for all holidays in some way or another. I pulled out some of the Patriotic or Americana goodies I had and jazzed up my mantel and wanted to share.
I used the old windows I have on there and still am loving the white shabby n chic chippy frame. I hung the American Flag banner that we hang outside too and brought it in.
I had these red white n blue buckets in my stash and LOVE them and added them inside the frame. Buckets for sure say Summer to me. They have candles to light at night too.
Here’s that cute Americana bird house I found about a month ago thrift shopping and don’t you just love the yellow birdie too?
I love this vintage inspired American Flag too and sometimes I hang it on my front door. It’s a corrugated metal and I used this gold frame holder to give it more height.

This pillow is also in my 4th of July stash and I bought it at a thrift sore years ago and someone made it and hand painted it too. So cute and love the “Hooray for the red, white and blue.”
On the other side of the room is the cozy red chair (I fixed this after our Cat’s Scratched it up) and the Ottoman that I covered ($2 Ottoman Makeover).
Across our wing chairs and a few weeks ago I made the two Patriotic Sweater Pillows from a sweater.
And on the table by our staircase and older striped Bird House and the Anthro inspired Union Jack Frame I made a few weeks ago that holds a picture of Scott n I on our first Valentines date weekend. (we were so young and cute…lol).
One of my easiest tips to offer is decorate with fabric or paint whenever you can. It’s such an easy way to make pillows for a new look or add some paint for some new life and it’s so inexpensive too. Don’t throw it out if you can repurpose it too.

Need some more Memorial Day or 4th of July Inspiration?? There are several great recipes we’re sharing too. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, Lisa
