Repurposing Buffet and Hutch

We had this buffet and hutch for several years and have really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, we had a leak and didn't notice that the top of the buffet had gotten wet until it was too late. I decided to take the plunge and see what they would look like painted!!!! Not a fan of painting wood but I just couldn't stand looking at it the way it was either. So...
So I sanded the top, used a shade darker yellow paint on the center drawers, cleaned up the hardware and stenciled both pieces. Then I went over it with a rag and some stain to give it a unique look. I now have them in the office/computer room and love them there, as well. They hold a lot of my office materials. Have since bought another older dining room set and am happy with it all.
