Anyone know what these are?

Any ideas what these are?? Someone suggested the small purple flowers as Russian camfry . these are in a yard of a home I just purchased. Thanks for any help.

I can't tell from the picture, but it could be a variation of an hibiscus. does it have any fragrance or flowery type odor?

the white flowers have no smell and are about an inch in width. almost reminded me of apple blossoms. Scrub is about 10 ft tall, lots of little skinny trunks,not just one trunk. Guess i'll see if maybe somekind of fruit appears. It is really pretty.
