Where can I find antiqued trunk/chest hardware?

We made a wooden storage chest and want to embellish it! I wanted to use old trunk corner brackets or trunk straps and can not find them anywhere. We have found corner protector brackets but they aren't decorative and the ones that are are only 1-2". We're looking for some that would be about 6". Anyone have any leads?

We ended up using crown molding on the sides and a wooden embelishment! It was cheaper! Thanks for the suggestions! Check it out! www.theredfrontdoor.blogspot.com

@SK on Elderberry Maybe SK can help you as she does all the antique type effects on furniture. You might be able to buy normal hardware cheaply and antique it up.

Thanks Carole. I have found tons of stuff at Restoration Hardware. A little spendy. I can usually find something similar and just antique it with the era look I am trying archive. Metal pounded soray paint from Rrustoleum works well. Good luck. What a fun project. sk
