Which lighting attracts less bugs?
...LED rope lights OR regular rope lights (like you find at Christmas time)?I have some LED white rope lights that I just bought for my back patio. We have a pretty large patio, with 4 overhead lights. These lights are always covered with icky cobwebs and bugs because we leave them on all night. That's why I bought the LED rope lights, because I heard they draw less bugs. I'm still seeing several little buggers, and wondered if the regular rope lights (like you find at Christmas time) are better at attracting less bugs than the LED ones. I want it bright enough out there, but the bugs and webs are driving us crazy!

I heard that mosquitos can't see LED's.

Not sure. I always believed it was the color (white) that attracts them, which is why bug lights are usually yellow.

LED lights do not attract bugs like traditional lighting.
