Paneling for Ceilings?

Has anyone used plain paneling as a ceiling? If you did, could you explain how you went about putting it in? Thanks!!

Whatever you use for the ceiling you will need to mark out the joists so you an attach to the paneling to them. I would event think about creating squares for ease of putting up and to create a design rather than large 4x8 sheets. I would paint them before putting them up and touch up after installation. I do not know about you but I hate painting ceilings! hope this helps!
