DIY Mason Jar Solar Chandelier

Cassie
by Cassie
This solar chandelier was created using mason jars and an old, broken light fixture.
I started with this old light fixture. Beautiful shape, but in pretty rough shape. I could have just rewired it, but I wanted to get a little creative! I removed the old light cord and cleaned it up with a wire bristled brush.
Then primed it with black primer, and painted it with flat black Rustoleum spray paint.
I added some bailing wire to my mason jar solar lights which were already made, and hung them up. For more information about my solar light, visit my blog!
I keep the jars on a table in the sun to "warm up" for a while each day, so they are ready to shine when it gets dark.
