I love chandeliers in bathrooms. Chandeliers look beautiful in any bathroom, not just a shabby chic bathroom, but something about a chandelier says shabby chic.

More shabby chic, yes. A white ironstone pitcher full of fresh flowers from the garden and a beautiful lavender homemade soap.
Chippy white chair, a perfect place for fresh towels. Only thing better would be towels fresh off of a clothesline, that is the best smell in the world. I miss that . . . . .
Lavender bubble bath and homemade gluten free soap given to me by a sweet friend.

I wanted to install a hanging light fixture in my bathroom, but the codes inspector nixed it. How is it "everyone" else can do it? I see chandeliers in bathrooms in store displays, magazine articles, websites, etc.

I wanted a cute little pink one in a recessed light fixture and was nixed on it too in the bathroom. It now hangs in my granddaughter's bedroom. This one in my bathroom now is actually with the electrical cord through a chain, like the old swag lights. Keep trying!
