Giving New Life to Old Linens

Do you have a collection of old, imperfect linens that you just can't seem to part with? Here's an idea that will get them out of your closet and transform them into something beautiful and useful.
You'll need old linens or fabric (denim makes fun tags), Modge Podge, heavy card stock or thin cardboard, a Sizzix die cut machine (optional) and a tag die cut. NOTE: I give instructions in the post how to make these without a die cut machine.
Those pretty linens can be turned into tags, which can then be embellished and used for decorating or gift-giving.
Glue the card stock onto the fabric and run it through your die cut machine. Pop on over to my blog to get more details about how to make these really pretty tags.

I love new ideas for tags! So cute and I have so many little handkerchiefs of my grandmothers and great grandmothers that have yellow stains on them. I wouldn't ever get rid of them but now I have a way of keeping them and making something pretty! Thanks for the great idea!

@Catherine Westergaard I LOVE making these and discovering new fabrics and textures to use. For example, I've tried burlap, quilts, plastic, and more. I'd love it if you'd come visit my blog and let me know what you think :)

Wish I had seen this idea before I got married last fall, would have been perfect!
