Have noticed my mustards greens have white spots. Is this a fungus.

Douglas Hunt on Jun 19, 2014Are there bumps on the under sides of the leaves? If so, that looks like white rust to me, and I believe it renders the leaves inedible.Helpful Reply

Annette Keeling on Jun 23, 2014Thanks for the answers Douglass , but I'm still hoping for more ideas. No it's not rust, it's white powder patches which is why I thought it was a fungus. I applied Neem oil but because of more rain I suppose I defeated my purpose. Thanks again will take a picture of the leaf.Helpful Reply

Douglas Hunt on Jun 24, 2014I'd try a good blast of water first, making sure to get the undersides of the leaves, and if that doesn't improve things then a commercial insecticidal soap.Helpful Reply
