Patriotic Shooting Star Napkin Rings

I have such a fun project to share with you today – just in time for a Fourth of July celebration. These Patriotic Shooting Star Napkin Rings will add a touch of some red, white & blue to your table.
To make these shooting stars, I used the Lifestyles Crafts Star Punches. These punch dies create a row of the same shape so you don’t have to run the die through your machine several times. Plus, the die creates a nice embossed border around each star. But you can use any type of paper punch or hand cut the stars.
Here’s the step-by-step.. 1. Create your stars using the Star Punch and the Evolution Machine. 2. Make your napkin rings using paper towel rolls cut to the width of your ribbon. Punch a small hole in the tube so you can pierce the wires through. Adhere the ribbon around the tube. 3. Add some fun trim like red mini pompoms. 4. Pierce wire through the hole in the tube and through the ribbon. Secure the end wires inside the tube with tape. Use glue dots to stick the stars to the wire.
Aren't they fun?
You can use the leftover star punches on straws, place cards or other projects. Horray for red, white & blue!
