Cream Dresser Makeover

Some of you may look at a dresser like this and think it needs to be sent to the curb. Sometimes I think that, too, but in this case I knew that this could be beautiful!! Caitlin reached out to us to have this family heirloom brought back to life with repair, paint and a new mirror. Here are the before pictures!
We repaired quite a bit of the damaged veneer using Bondo and had to sand a lot of the wood smooth before priming and painting this piece. We painted it using Benjamin Moore’s Navajo White. I slightly distressed it and we used all of the original hardware except the top two drawers because we wanted to add a little glam to this piece. :) If you want step by step painting instructions, check out our http://funcycled.com/projects/how-to-paint-furniture/ post.
