While shopping one day I found a wooden door mat that I knew would be good for something. A while back I entered a contest with a patriotic theme...
Today was that day! In honor of the fourth of July I created a flag bunting and the wooden door mat was just what I needed to complete this project.
I took apart the wooden door mat and re strung the pieces to make a flag bunting shape.

I took apart the wooden door mat and re strung the pieces to make a flag bunting shape.
I painted it red, white, and blue then added a sign to the center with letters cut from my Silhouette.
The result is a wooden bunting that hangs from an old chain. I put it on the front of my house for all the holidays! Stop by Homeroad and see the details!
