It’s the last week of June & the 4th of July is right around the corner. I needed a new patriotic wreath to welcome in the holiday. Using items I had on hand, I made this.
This is the wreath that is hanging on my door, just in time for the 4th of July. It was so easy to make & since it was made with supplies that I had on hand, it was free!
The first thing that I did was to wrap red, white & blue ribbon around a willow wreath.
I made a bow from sheer blue ribbon & secured it with a chenille stem. Then I inserted the ends of the chenille stem into the top of the wreath. Make sure that the ends go in at different parts of the wreath.
I pulled the bow tightly to the wreath & then twisted the ends into a loop for hanging.

I cut up the last of my glitter berries that I had from Christmas, into small pieces.
I had this 4th of July decoration from last year. I cut the star sprays off & them cut the sprays in half.
I hot glued the berries & star sprays in an among the bow.
I tucked 2 flags into the willow wreath at the bottom. Then I added some hot glue to the base

Add some stars from the star sprays to cover the glue.
These were some left over flag tooth picks that I thought would be perfect for this project.
I added 2 more flags to the sides of the wreath just to balance it out, Then I glued in the flag tooth picks in & around the bow & some at the base of the bottom flags. And it's done! Happy Creating everyone!
